Pre-treatment Considerations
Existing Cosmetic Tattoo
Existing Cosmetic Tattoos may be considered as correctional work and requires a Brow Consultation first. Please DO NOT book the full treatment unless you have consulted our team regarding your existing cosmetic tattoo.
Cold Sores
Treatment should not be conducted when active cold sores are present. The stimulation of a cosmetic tattoo may increase the risk of future breakouts.
Pregnancy
We do not tattoo during pregnancy.
Breast Feeding
We do not tattoo during breast feeding.
Allergies
Please advise your Cosmetic Tattoo Artist is you have had reactions to any of the following before: latex, rubber, medications, numbing agents, Phenylalanine (PPE).
Medications
If you are taking any of the following medications please consult your Cosmetic Tattoo Artist before booking: Warfarin, Heparin, Aspirin, Opioid medication (Endone), Prednisone, Roaccutane (within 8-12 months), Antibiotics

Exercise/Gym
After your treatment you will be advised to avoid the following for at least 2 weeks - chlorinated/saltwater pools, high UV exposure, and Infrared light exposure. The following activities should be avoided until your brows peel or flake off - Cardio workouts, excessive sweating, sauna, hot spa and spray tanning.
Chemical Peels
It is recommended not to undergo any chemical peels within 2-4 weeks of either side of a cosmetic tattoo treatment.
Cosmeceutical Skin Care
Cosmeceutical products containing the following ingredients should be avoided on the area for at least 5 days before treatment and 2 wks after. NB Future use may accelerate fading of cosmetic tattoos: AHA’s (Alpha Hydroxy Acids: Glycolic, lactic acid), Vitamin C, Benzoyl Peroxide, Vitamin A, Alcohol greater than 6%
Injectables
Muscle relaxant injections and dermal fillers: To ensure even distribution of any cosmetic injectable, minimised bruising, and a successful result, treatment should not be performed under two weeks before or after.
IPL/Laser
No treatment should be on an area that has undergone IPL/Laser for a minimum of 4 weeks before or after treatment. An area that contains cosmetic tattoo pigment should be avoided if you undergo IPL/Laser after treatment. Advise your IPL/laser therapist before undergoing treatments.
Facial Surgery
Consult a Doctor and obtain permission before treatment. Talk with your Cosmetic Tattoo Artist during your Consultation.
Alcohol
Please avoid alcohol for at least 24hrs before the procedure to avoid excessive bleeding
Eczema/Dermatitis
If you suffer any skin hypersensitivity or dermatitis it is advisable to seek medical advice before having a cosmetic tattoo treatment.
Topical Vitamin A
Retin-A, Tretinoin Preparations, Hydroquinone, Skin bleaching agents: may increase hypersensitivity, and the risk of scarring if used within 5 days of treatment.

Diabetes
Due to possible slower healing, please contact your Doctor and we can discuss it in your Brow Consultation.
Eczema/Dermatitis
If you suffer any skin hypersensitivity or dermatitis, please consult a Doctor and your Cosmetic Tattoo Artist prior to treatment.

Supplements
For best results, avoid the following for a week before treatment: Fish Oil, primrose, krill oil, Ginseng and Gingko Biloba.
